A tiger sighting is never guaranteed, but Ranthambore gives you as honest a chance as anywhere in India, and the park itself — dry forest wrapped around a tenth-century hill fort — is worth the drive on its own. Safari permits are issued by the forest department in fixed morning and afternoon slots and sell out early in season, so tell us your date as soon as you know it. We drive you to the park and back; the safari canter or gypsy is booked separately through the official system.
